Several cleaning activities took place in Ungheni and 5 rural localities within the project “Anti-Littering Partnership for Green Rural Areas” on the period 19.09.2020-19.11.2020. The sanitation activities were dedicated to the World Clean-up Day marked on September 19, 2020 as well as to the local cleaning events in the green spaces, aiming to increase the level of awareness on environmental protection by involving citizens in the sanitation of public spaces. The sanitation activities were attended by 439 people, students of the high schools “Gheorghe Asachi” and “Vasile Alecsandri” from Ungheni, civil servants, teachers, students and ordinary citizens from the villages Valea Marea and Costuleni, Mănoilești, Zagarancea and Pârlița communes from Ungheni district.
